Great British Spring Clean: Cross-border clean-up Chester, 29 March 10am

Join the Welsh Dee Trust as we work with Keep Wales Tidy to clean the banks of the River Dee at Sealand, Chester.

Welsh Dee Trust have teamed up with Keep Wales Tidy Flintshire to run a joint Great British Spring Clean/Spring Clean Cymru event on the English/Welsh border at Sealand. Meeting at the same place, the Keep Wales Tidy participants will clean the riverbank downstream in Wales, while the Welsh Dee Trust volunteers will litter pick upstream of the border in England.

The Welsh Dee Trust project is funded by the Government’s Green Recovery Challenge Fund. The fund was developed by Defra and its Arm’s-Length Bodies. It is being delivered by The National Lottery Heritage Fund in partnership with Natural England, the Environment Agency and Forestry Commission.

The Keep Britain Tidy project is funded by Caru Cymru. Caru Cymru has received funding through the Welsh Government Rural Communities – Rural Development Programme 2014-2020, which is funded by the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development and the Welsh Government.
