Have you seen how much litter there is below the city walls in Chester by the Old Dee Bridge? It’s a tricky area to access, but we’ve put together a plan to tackle it. This will be a ‘heavy duty’ litter pick involved lifting and lowering buckets over the wall, climbing down and up a short, steep slope, and negotiating mud and low hanging bushes.
This project is funded by the Government’s Green Recovery Challenge Fund. The fund was developed by Defra and its Arm’s-Length Bodies. It is being delivered by The National Lottery Heritage Fund in partnership with Natural England, the Environment Agency and Forestry Commission.
