Join Peter Powell, Welsh Dee Trust CEO, for a leisurely walk along the River Dee, learning about river habitats, wildlife and some of the problems facing the river.

It will be a slow paced walk as it involves regular stops to take a closer look at points of interest. Duration approx. 90 minutes. The walk will begin at the entrance to Edgars field park near to the old Dee Bridge and end at Chester Meadows. The distance is two miles.

Tickets are free but due to limited numbers booking is essential (see below). The nearest parking is on Eaton Road. Please note that there are no public toilet facilities along the walking route. Public toilet facilities can be found across the river at The Groves (CH1 1SD) or in the Little Roodee car park (CH1 1SL), where a number of wheelchair accessible parking spaces are also located.
