River Sunday litter pick: Finchett’s Gutter, 22 January 11am

We know there is a lot of litter in Finchett’s Gutter, one of the tributaries of the Dee in Chester, including things like trolleys! We want to clean-up part of this area both in the stream and on the banks. This will be a ‘heavy duty’ litter pick with lifting and carrying large and heavy items and getting down to the water’s edge.

This project is funded by the Government’s Green Recovery Challenge Fund. The fund was developed by Defra and its Arm’s-Length Bodies. It is being delivered by The National Lottery Heritage Fund in partnership with Natural England, the Environment Agency and Forestry Commission.
