In light of Coronavirus, we are keeping Welsh Dee Trust activities under constant review and making changes in line with government guidance.

To help minimise potential infection of our staff and those we work with all WDT

staff will be working from home in the coming weeks. To continue to deliver our projects we are continuing with online meetings and webinars. We have paused the recruitment of staff members until later in the year and greater clarity of a time when more normal working conditions can be resumed.

The greatest challenge provided to the trust will be delivering projects and interventions identified for this summer and more concerningly a potential drop in future funding of environmental restoration when faced with a reduced economy and subsequent reductions in government funding.  However, Welsh Dee Trust will continue to do everything in its power to care for the River Dee and its wildlife.
