Pollution is on of the largest problems affecting the River Dee and its wildlife. Agriculture, sewage treatment works highways and urban areas can all be sources of pollution.
The Middle Dee Catchment Partnership aims to bring together all the stakeholders working to improve the health of the River Dee for wildlife and the local economy. Many stakeholders involved in the Dee are attempting to tackle the problem of pollution, particularity from agricultural sources. The partnership is promoting conversations between the individuals, organisation and businesses working to tackle agricultural pollution. This will reduce replicated working and sharing of best practice.
